The Ungheni commune

Location

Commune Ungheni is situated in the eastern county of Iasi at a distance of 21 km from the city, the road that goes from Iasi to Chisinau. In the eastern part of the village is limited by the Prut river, which separates the Ungheni in Moldova.

Population

Commune Ungheni has a total population of 4285 inhabitants with the following structure:
* Active population: - 2340
* Occupied population - 2294
* Unemployed - 18

Commune Ungheni has comprises 4(four) villages :
* Bosia
* Manzatesti
* Coada Stancii
* Ungheni

Surface

Area administrative Ungheni the village is 4614 ha, of which 2060 ha agricultural land (arable, meadows, vineyards).

1. Water supply: Network of water is running in the villages Bosia and Ungheni.
2. Sewerage: There is no sewerage

* a. Road – county around , 30 km to airport
* In 1868 construction began Iasi railway Ungheni to make about Russia. Unghenii became a frontier
4. Gas distribution: No distribution network of natural gas in the village.
5. Electricity: In 1116 the village Ungheni homes are connected to electricity
