The commune Rediu is located in the northwestern part of Iasi

Rediu has a total population of 3750 inhabitants of wich:
* Activ population - 1151
* Occupied population - 1099
* Unemployed - 52

* Rediu
* Breazu
* Horlesti
* Tautesti

The surface of Rediu is 4320 ha of wich 1146 ha agricultural land.
