The Aroneanu communeLocationThe commune Aroneanu is located in the north of Iasi, 4,5 kmPopulationAroneanu has a total population of 3.044 inhabitants with the following structure:* Active population -1247 * Occupied population - 1172 * Unemployed - 57 The territorial componentThe commune has comprises 4 (four) villages :* Aroneanu the center-village is situated on a terrace at an altitude less than 200m.Is documentary attested since 1594. * Dorobant - located in NE, was mentioned for the first time at the beginning of the XX century. The name come from the regiment 13 Dorobanti where many young people have made the army. All around the village were discovered archaeological traces from the end of Palaeolithic period, neolithic, the iron age, the great migration * Rediu Aldei- located at 4 km from the center in the notheatern part of Iasi is documentary attested in 1772. Were discovered documentary evidence before our era. * Sorogari- Located in the east part of Iasi, near the lake Aroneanu . The village was documentary attested in 1592. All around the village were found traces of the Bronze Age.
